Julie Fridlington, MD

Dr. Julie Fridlington was born and raised in Iowa. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Truman State University, graduating sum cum laude and with honors. She received her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX. She subsequently completed both her Internship in Internal Medicine and Dermatology specialty training at the University of Texas Medical Branch. During her final year of residency, she served as Chief Resident and was awarded the medical student teaching award for excellence in Dermatology instruction. Early in her career, Dr. Fridlington spent several years working in the Austin area. Prior to relocating to San Antonio, Dr. Fridlington spent the last 3 years in West Point, NY providing Dermatology care to patients in the Hudson Valley.

Dr. Fridlington has repeatedly been named a Texas Super Doctor-Rising Star in Dermatology by Texas Monthly Magazine and was named a Top Doctor in Dermatology by Austin Monthly Magazine in 2019. Dr. Fridlington’s interests include adult and pediatric medical dermatology, skin cancer prevention and treatment, and cosmetic dermatology.

Dr. Fridlington is board certified by American Board of Dermatology and is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Texas Dermatological Society, and American Medical Association/Texas Medical Association.

Outside of work, Dr. Fridlington enjoys Airstreaming with her family, spending time in the woods with her dogs, and cheering for Army Football.
